Ancient Doclea/Medun Tour

Service Description

We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:30 AM. First, we will have breakfast in a beautiful setting by the Zeta River, surrounded by nature. After a pleasant breakfast, we will travel to the ancient city of Doclea (Dioclea), located near Podgorica. Upon arrival in Doclea, we will take a tour with important information about the city. After taking plenty of photos, we will set off towards Medun. Medun is an ancient city with a very long history, built on high hills. Today, the ruins of a fortress are clearly visible even from afar. Together, we will climb to the fortress and observe the endless plateaus that have witnessed many battles. In front of the small church on top of the fortress is the tomb of Marko Miljanov. In the museum located just below the fortress, you will see artifacts related to Montenegro and Marko Miljanov. Important pieces from the Ottoman Empire are also exhibited in the same museum. On the way back, after a photo stop at an observation point, we will continue our journey to Podgorica.
